One month ago, The 21 years old singer from new Zealand hit us with the music video in the third song of her new album on Youtube. Basically, I love her new album melodrama since green light got big success on the market and I have a theory that if you love four songs in a album, you gonna love the entire album. Melodrama was released on June 2017 and sold almost 17.000 copies in the first week. Honestly, I'm considering to spend 160.000 rupiahs to buy her album.
Why do I love lorde ? at the age of early 20, she has a great taste in music by making the songs that I can enjoy by the first time I listen to. 21 Y.o girl who doesn't look bitchy took 2 years to record this album and it's been 4 years since her pure heroine (based on wikipedia) however after her long vacuum, the result is so great. I never know why people out there are so serious about making music video while in this country, I just know several artists who have it.
The first which hit the youtube was green light. We can see on the music video when she is dancing on the roof of car and sidewalk. She is so adorable with the pink dress and white Adidas sneakers. The last time I know about Lorde was at KKN, when I put Lorde's song team and royal in the background music for the video. So after I heard green light, she came up with liability. There is no music video for this song, only audio with album art and her live on Saturday Night Live. The song is so damn good, the lyric is so gw banget and she can bring it to a high level of ballad-song.
Lorde started to create this sing when she was in a cab and crying, she said "It’s always going to be this way, at some point with everyone it’s going to be this way". I thought she is trying to tell her sadness at some point. And the last is "perfect places", I saw it 3 days ago accidentally when I was starving for good video on youtube. So this is the music video of Lorde, perfect places.
